Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Animals!

If there is one thing we do not get tired of, it is ANIMALS!

Everyday we tell the teachers which animals we want to make! We read books about them, draw them, look at the spelling of each animal, and even write the letters our selves!

We are getting better at using the scissors, so the teachers encourage us to cut out the animals we have drawn. We glue them onto a BIG piece of paper that has all of the things our animals need.

We love to draw trees, grass, clouds, water, and occasionally we will throw in lollipops or Popsicles in case the animals would like a special treat! ;0)

What's in the sky?

Yesterday the children started talking about the sky. We asked them what is in the sky...........
"The sun and clouds!"
We took yellow paper for the sun, and blue paper for the clouds and started cutting away!
Our cutting skills are really improving, and we noticed so many shapes while we did this activity! There were lots of triangles!

"Look! I made a triangle!"

While the kids were cutting paper, Aidan looked at one of his pieces of paper and noticed the shape!

He said, "Look! I made a triangle!"

He glued the triangle on the paper and made a beautiful art piece with it!

New Class, New Project! RHINOS!!!!!!

Today Nohea said, "I want to make a 'dinosaurus'!"

We said, "oh, you want to make a dinosaur?"

-"No! I want to make a dinosaurus!"

We said, "a rhinoceros?"

-"Yes!"

Once Nohea started making her rhino, the rest of the class came running over! We spent a good part of the morning drawing, cutting, and pasting our rhinos onto a big piece of paper!

Alexandre started cutting, and every time he cut a piece of paper, he said, "I did it!"

Here is a sneak peak at the rhinos!

See ya later Preschool!!!! The preschool kids have moved up to Prek! The kids LOVE the new room, and they have already gotten busy working on so many things! The kids have made the transition as a class, so being in the new room with good friends has made the move comfortable for all of the kids.
Any one who would like to ask questions is welcome to talk to Maryam or Nikou at any time. We are always available!
