Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

All in a Day's Work

So much can happen in a day in our room, which by the way we just named our class the "RED ROOM"!  Colors have been a BIG thing in our room, so when the older children were asking them what the name of their class should be, they couldn't decide between yellow or red, but in the end we all agreed that it should be the RED ROOM.

The train project is still going strong!  We use the chairs, the blocks, art materials, and anything else we can think of to make a train!
Making the train has helped us with our counting skills.  We count how many chairs make the train, how many blocks or what ever else we might be using.  It turns out some of us are really enjoying counting everything, so we are now counting with everything we play with.  It seems that it is math time all of the time!!!

Of course through out the day, we need to sit together and make very important phone calls! ;0)
We might also sit together and read the books to each other......
For some reason we LOVE to take our shoes off when we make our phone calls, but we are such good friends to each other and we always help each other put our shoes on.
We are having fun using different materials in our sand area.  We love cooking so much that flour seems to be one of our favorite things to play with.
Rice was the preferred material to make this "farm".
Of course someone is always working on art at every point in the day.  We are experts with the scissors now and we love talking about what we have made....
"Look what I made"!
We are using the sand in many different ways......
Some of us use it to create art, make letters by running our fingers in the sand, but most of all..............
it feels so good running through our fingers!
Some of us LOVE to build with the blocks.  This is a house for a monkey and a cow........
Only the monkey could fit, so .......
"the cow got mad and broke the house"!!!

Please feel free to talk to the teachers about the projects.  The children are writing, counting, drawing, and creating so much, we would love to share the work with you!
