the shapes we eat

This may look like just a plat of food, but.....

Do you see any similarities to the shapes in this picture???

We were naming all of the shapes...then we started to draw them....but then, we saw that the food was the same shapes that were on the paper!

But the best part of all was eating it! ;0)

what's for lunch?

The other day, some of the children were cutting out pictures and gluing them.  One child found some french fries, and the children started pretending to eat them!  The next day the teachers gave the children lots of food magazines, and the children started cutting out the food pictures, and pretending to cook and eat them!

Chili was cooking on the stove..Bishop was licking ice creamthe boys were eating fruits and veggies, but Grace kept making sure everyone had enough ;0)Cam'Ren ate too much ice cream

And Noah even fed a great white shark some chicken!

When we were done cooking and eating, we glued our favorite foods on our plates...It looked so delicious, that we ate some more!But thank goodness for Hendrix, he kept reminding everyone, "DON'T EAT THE GLUE!"
