About Me

Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

All Aboard to the Beach!

This is "The Beach"!  The children found these pieces of paper with different colors and textures, and before we new it, they were calling it the beach!
They are also dressing up and saying that they are going to the beach.  What will we see, what will we do??????  We can't wait to find out!
At the same time, some of the children have expressed an interest in trains.  We have made several art pieces with trains, and now we have boxes in our class to make our own.
We are reading more books on trains, and looking at each part of the train to see where we would like to put those parts on our train.

We will also be dyeing egg shells to fill with confetti on Wednesday.  Please bring in any number of shells that you could collect before that day.  Information on our egg hunt is located on the flyer by the classroom.

Birthday Fun on Friday, April 15th

We have so many birthdays this month! We are having so much fun celebrating, and this Friday, one of the parents has arranged for some special visitors!

EJC Farms will come for one of our children's birthday parties, and they are bringing a petting zoo as well as a pony carousel!

The party will be from 2 - 4 so please make sure you sign the permission slip to allow your child to participate in petting and riding the animals.

They are located at the front computer and by your child's classroom.

Our Blooming Art

This beautiful art piece inspired a new area in our room..............

The children have started showing a love for flowers and all of the colors they can be...........

Our art director helped arrange this art area to inspire the children to make more pieces, and continue the conversations about flowers.
They have all been so busy and now we are ready for our spring planting!
Our art work will be up soon for everyone to admire!

This week, we are preparing the garden with our compost!  The garden should be ready for planting by the end of this week, and the children can begin bringing in plants, seeds, or trees for our garden beginning on Monday, April 11th.
Each year the garden seems to be getting better and better, and we have been able to use our herbs, fruits and vegetables in our lunches and snacks!
We can't wait to see what luck we have this year.  The children are welcome to bring in any special gardening tools, books, or any other materials that might help with this project.

Let us know if you have any questions!
