Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Bugs and Beetles!

We have expressed an interest in bugs, especially beetles, lately.  We have read, drawn, and played with bugs outside.  Lucky for us, our older friends put together a presentation on bugs to help us learn more!

On this special day, we learned about grasshoppers!

Our friends helped us spell and recognize the letters that spell GRASSHOPPER...

We all learned that insects have 6 legs, and we counted all of the legs on the grasshopper......

And to our surprise they had about 15 baby grasshoppers for us to look at!  They were such a pretty, bright green color!  They were jumping all over the container!

We have been practicing spelling and writing out words that go with our "bug project".....

We have had many types of material to make our favorite bugs with.........

And thanks to Ereeni, we got to look at real bugs sealed in plastic!  We love to talk about them and all of the parts of their bodies.

And, don't be mistaken ;0)  This may look like a scorpion, but it is really a "lobster"!!!!! lol ;0)

We love to read the books to each other.....

use the magnifying glass to look really close at the anatomy......

and count how many bugs we have!

Keep a look out, our creepy, crawly beetles and bugs will be on display soon!
