Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Airplanes!

We have started a new project on airplanes! The children sat around the reading area with Ms.Sahira and had a conversation about airplanes. Ereeni told us airplanes fly in the sky and they have really big wings. They land and move with their wheels.
We started off by watching a video on them so we could learn some cool facts!
1.Helmets-We talked about how they are worn on the head.
 2. Different parts of a plane-We learned about the different parts of the plane on the outside. The wings, windows and the doors to open and go inside the plane.  After watching a video and talking about what we saw in it we went back in our classroom and started creating our very own airplanes out of legos and some of us drew them!

After building an airplane out of legos, one of our students decided he wanted to build his very own airplane out of different materials he had in his classroom! First he used a cardboard roll he got off of a paper roll for the body...than he used the cardboard rolls off of the tape for his wheels! :o)

He than cut out little pieces of paper for the windows and glued them on very carefully.

He he wanted to use different strips of colored paper and glitter to make his airplane look awesome! While he was doing this hard work, two of his classmates were watching and really wanted to join in on this fun! They asked if they could help and he agreed!

The girls were a very big help! ;-)
The students were very excited with their big airplane they created! They even started practicing how to write the word "Airplane" Come check out the awesome work that is going on in our classroom!
